Wanda Jeffries Hobbs

Wanda is a Retired Disabled Navy Veteran with 23 years of military service, who has lived an exciting life. As a leader, she knew that management and leadership skills were key to the continued progression of any navy member. She served in various capacities including overseas in countries like Italy, Canada, and Puerto Rico during Desert Storm. She was instrumental to mission success by providing technical support for ships at sea as well as submarines operating along the shorelines.

When I think about the Navy, one word comes to mind: proud. The men and women who wear this uniform are some of America’s finest. The pride of being part of an organization such as the Navy is unmatched by any other group or institution because they granted me with so many opportunities and achievements while upholding their core values – Honor above all else!
